Does CPTED NOW replace my judgment?
No. It drafts from your observations and site context. You decide what stays, what changes, and what belongs in the report.
Who signs the report?
You do. CPTED NOW is a tool for qualified practitioners. Review the final document and take responsibility for the professional conclusions you deliver.
Do I have to approve each analysis step?
No. There are no approval gates between analysis steps or a required sign-off before exporting a completed report. You can inspect and edit the output, and you remain responsible for the conclusions you share.
Does the AI make findings?
It proposes draft analysis based on the information you provide. You can inspect and edit that output. Treat every draft as something to verify against the evidence, not as a final assessment.
Does CPTED NOW sell assessments?
No. CPTED NOW and Security.NOW are focused exclusively on SaaS products for now. We are not selling assessments or matching clients with assessors.
Who owns my data and reports?
Your organization should agree ownership, use rights, retention, and deletion in its onboarding terms. The app supports Word and PDF report exports and report-data exports. Ask support to confirm the agreement for your organization before uploading client material.
Can I capture without a signal?
Yes. Field observations save on the device and sync when a connection is available. Cloud analysis requires a connection. Verify that synchronization has completed before removing local data.
What do I need to sign in?
Early access currently uses an organizational Microsoft account. You can join the waitlist with any email address; we will confirm access requirements before onboarding.
Is my clients’ data used to train AI?
Analysis uses AWS Bedrock and transcription uses Deepgram. Confirm the provider-specific data-use and model-training terms in your organization’s onboarding agreement before uploading restricted material. We do not claim a blanket no-training guarantee for every provider on this page.
Is the beta approved for criminal justice information?
The public beta does not make a CJIS compliance or FedRAMP authorization claim. Discuss agency requirements and obtain an approved agreement and deployment before uploading restricted information.
What does early access cost?
Pricing has not been set. We are introducing the product and gathering practitioner feedback. Joining the waitlist is not a purchase or a paid commitment; any future paid offer will be explained separately before you choose it.
